    Guarantee

Have you ever thought about remodeling and even got so far as getting the plans done?  Then something comes up and you have to postpone the project.  It just keeps getting put on the back burner.  Well one of my clients had a great solution for this problem.  Making sure they went through with their plans and not letting other things take priority over their remodel, she made her Kitchen so beyond repair that they couldn't keep it this way.

Actually, just weeks before we were scheduled to do Demo she turned her children's friends loose on the kitchen with magic makers and crayons.  They had a ball expressing themselves with their own version of Graffiti.  Who hasn't wanted to draw on the walls?  Since we were all kids it has been a no-no.  What fun!!!

And a great Guarantee that the project would move forward.  She made me promise to tell you all that her kitchen doesn't usually look this way. They were clearing everything out for demo on Monday.  I promise to give you updates on this project.  Sue

Hilarious! I'm going to spread this one around. Thanks for the day brightener Sue.

Sue says.....Thanks Paul. Yeah it was really shocking when I walked in for the final walk thru before demo. A few of the pictures I couldn't show. the graffiti was a little to racy. Feel free to lift any of these pics you would like.

I get where all the writing on the walls might motivate some people, but after seeing that, I would have a tough time tearing down an original work of art. That would stay like that until the kids were gone, maybe longer.. would be a great conversation piece! And, nothing would stop me from inviting any and all guests to add to the opus! I would at least have the satisfaction of being the conversation on the drive home.

Sue says....Actually my client felt the same way. Some of the art was really creative. She has decided to do a chalk board wall in the new kitchen to keep the fun coming.

One of our client's children drew all over their walls prior to demo. Our contractor carefully cut out some of the best drawings and we saved them for the client.

Sue says....Thanks for the idea. I will tell my client about this. On another project my client has a growth chart for her now 30 something son. We need to move this wall. I think I will surprise her with saving this and framing it. This is why I love blogging. The sharing of ideas, even simple ones. Thanks for visiting. I am adding your blog to my blog list.
